Over the past few years West has both gained and lost fans over his vocal support of Trump. West regularly tweets his admiration for the President and even wore a red "Make America Great Again" hat.
Despite his bromance with the President critics say the rapper has failed to register his name with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and would struggle to have his name registered as a candidate in all 50 states. Which is rather hurtful to say, maybe they're jealous of Ye's talent.
News networks speak of his massive achievements as if they're small milestones but let's not forget that a business mogul and t.v personality is now president so Ye becoming president is not off the tables whilst it is unlikely.
In June, Ye donated $2 million to support the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, three Black people who were killed in incidents with police and citizens. Shortly after his announcement Ye was loaned 1-2 mill from the federal government to keep 100 + employees in business.
